Let me start by saying that sales have never been my strong suit, and if I knew that sales were such a large part of being an entrepreneur, I happily would have walked away from the business right at the beginning.
I had visions that my offers were so great that they were just going to sell themselves. NOT SO!!! I struggled with sales and really hated the whole process.
(Let me clearly state that if you click on these links and purchase Sara Dann’s products, I may receive a small commission. I do not promote products I have not used myself and truly believe in.)
I even tried to outsource my sales lead generation. Like I spent thousands on outsourcing that.
I tried so many business coaches and was fooled by many who made promises to me that if I just signed up with them, they were going to teach me how to sell.
I hated selling because of the ick factor. It feels so sleazy to me. I consider myself a very honest person and if people came to me with no money but wanting to sign up I wouldn’t let them. Because of what I offer, honestly, you need money coming in before you need me. You need to prove that your business is viable.
So once I signed on with a few business coaches, they just proceeded to teach me the cookie-cutter formula behind sales, which really, I can just learn about that online for free. I fired a few of them.
So when I heard about Sara Dann through my business bestie, I was skeptical. I sat on it for a bit because I had been so burned by throwing money out the door on courses and coaches and you name it.
Nothing was helping me truly get to the root of the issue: how I was selling.
Then along came Sara Dann (again). I had seen in one of my groups some businesswomen talking about the $500k Sales Systems course and I decided to hop on Sara’s website and check it out.
I really took the time to look at the lessons that were being offered and the content that it was touching on. I googled and read reviews that others had written about the program. I waffled back and forth between “this won’t help me” to “well…. maybe???”
In the end, at 2 am, wide awake in bed when I’m thinking about it again, I decide to go for it. I purchased the course.
Let’s try that again….
I purchased the course!!!!!
Honestly, I am so grateful I did. I listened feverishly to every lesson in one weekend, then went back again and implemented each step as she outlined.
The results were AMAZING! Yes, it took some time to get the sales in. That had more to do with my comfort level and confidence with sales than anything. It’s an understatement to say I was uncomfortable with selling. Sara helped me build my confidence.
It’s kind of weird to think she helped me build my confidence, but I honestly felt she was talking to me through this course. And I hung off every word.
This course may not be for everyone, I am just letting you know what helped me. I am the kind of person who really needs to understand the WHY behind I do what I’m supposed to do.
I really needed to understand WHY I needed to become the salesperson in my business. But not only did she help me understand why I needed to take on this role, she also taught me the HOW.
Now, Sara Dann is a strong woman who loves to curse and tell it like it is. Some people may have a hard time with that, but I certainly don’t. Her guidance is inspiring and motivating. I love her energy. She is unapologetic.
You can join her free Facebook group Unstoppable Women Entrepreneurs to get to know her and her offers.
Now Sara Dann has decided to retire the $500k Sales System and her website says that she has new programs coming out. I feel that if you can grab the $500k Sales System course before it’s fully retired then great, but if not, her other programs will likely offer something you need.
